Hi, I’m Karen, and I’m so glad you’re here!​

Welcome to our BFF group! We are Building Friendships that Fit, as instructed in Proverbs 13:20 ~ “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.”

Our group started in the fall of 2016. Earlier that year, I had the privilege of participating in one of the pilot groups that studied Becoming Mrs. Betterhalf by Holly Furtick. The study was great and opened my eyes to areas that I needed to improve in order to better my marriage!

 

At the end of the study, my leader of the pilot group asked me if I would be willing to lead a group through this study in the fall. As much as I loved the study, I told her “no”, because leading an eGroup was very much outside of my comfort zone. She continued to encourage me to lead, and I finally, very tentatively, agreed.

 

I only agreed to this, because I thought that the study was so great, and I wanted as many married ladies as possible to have the opportunity to do Becoming Mrs. Bettterhalf also. My plan though was to only lead one group through the fall, and that was it!

 

However, that was evidently my plan and not the Lord’s plan, because here we are 10 years later! 😂 I am beyond grateful, humbled and joyful to be a part of this group that the Lord has brought together!! 🙌

 

Our group exists to study God’s Word foremost and learn how to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul and mind and also how to love others as Christ calls us to love. We are a family who does life together. And we are on a mission to change our world for Christ!! 🔥
